AAEON Announces NanoCOM-RAP COM Express Type 10 CPU Module
AAEON, a leading provider of Computer-on-Modules, has introduced the NanoCOM-RAP, a COM Express Type 10 CPU Module powered by 13th Generation Intel Core processors. The module is available in various SKUs, ranging from the Intel Processor U300E to the Intel Core i7-1365UE CPU, offering up to 10 cores, 12 threads, and high maximum turbo frequency across both performance and efficient cores.
The NanoCOM-RAP is designed for customers who need a small, flexible, and scalable solution, thanks to its high CPU performance and relatively low power consumption. AAEON has upgraded the memory and storage of the module, equipping it with 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory and offering two SATA drives as well as four PCIe slots for expansion. Additionally, there is an optional 128 GB onboard NVMe storage.
The module features integrated Intel UHD Graphics that support dual display outputs with resolutions of up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, making it suitable for AI vision applications. It also includes a LAN port for Intel Ethernet Controller I226-IT at 2.5GbE and multiple USB ports for peripheral device integration.
For serial communication, the NanoCOM-RAP offers two 2-Wire UART, an 8-bit GPIO, SMBus, and I2C, making it ideal for embedded industrial, robotic, and edge computing applications. The module's design emphasizes its use in these fields, with features such as a 9 V ~ 15 V power input range, onboard TPM 2.0, and a lightweight build weighing 0.15 lb.
The NanoCOM-RAP supports multiple operating systems, including Windows 10 (64-bit) and Linux Ubuntu 22.04.2 with Kernel 5.19, providing flexibility for developers in different environments.
