Mini PC from Gigabyte
Another Brix mini PC has been released by Gigabyte, featuring the low-power six-watt Intel N250 CPU. This mini PC is designed for users with basic computing needs. Based on the system's specifications, the BTIP-N250 is expected to be priced affordably, although Gigabyte has not yet provided details on pricing or availability.
The Intel N250 quad-core, quad-thread processor is not meant for high-performance tasks. However, it offers performance similar to the Zen+ Ryzen 5 3500U, making it suitable for moderate workloads and office tasks. The processor can support up to 16 GB of DDR5 memory, and the system accommodates both M.2 and 2.5" drives for storage. Additionally, the system includes dual USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, dual USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI, and audio in/out ports. Wireless connectivity can be added through the M.2 2230 slot, while wired networking is supported by the 1G ethernet port.
