MSI has recently unveiled the latest SHADOW 3X graphics card models in a subtle manner. These new stealth-black designs, including the GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti, have made their debut on official product pages online. It is anticipated that more information will be released soon, possibly around the launch of NVIDIA's upcoming Blackwell GPUs.
The product pages for MSI's new SHADOW 3X cards highlight their key features, emphasizing a performance-driven design that enhances the gaming experience for players looking to upgrade or build a new gaming setup. VideoCardz speculates that these new cards will be the first to be available in Western markets, as previous models were exclusive to the Chinese region.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G SHADOW 3X models, both overclocked (OC) and non-OC SKUs, appear to adopt MSI's VENTUS 3X design but with a darker color scheme.
Unlike previous iterations, the new SHADOW 3X cards showcase a fresh design without borrowing elements from other product lines. MSI's latest offering in the barebones/essential tier includes a substantial heatsink, a triple-fan cooling system, a single 16-pin power connector, and a simple shroud and backplate design. These cards do not feature RGB lighting, vapor chambers, or liquid cooling systems.
MSI will provide both overclocked and standard models that adhere to NVIDIA's reference specifications. TechPowerUp's GPU database will be updated to include these new additions.
