AMD's Ryzen 9000HX Lineup

AMD's Upcoming Ryzen 9000HX Lineup

AMD is set to release its Ryzen 9000HX lineup of "Fire Range" Zen 5 mobile processors sometime between March and April. The highly anticipated 3D V-Cache-equipped Ryzen 9 9955HX3D SKU is expected to be a popular choice for manufacturers of ultra high-end gaming laptops. CPU-Z version 2.14 is already prepared to support Team Red's new product line, as revealed in CPUID's patch notes from February 8.

AMD's official announcement of the Ryzen 9000HX series CPUs included the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D (16-core), 9955HX (16-core), and 9850HX (12-core) models. Additionally, three more "Fire Range" SKUs are hinted at in the CPU-Z update. The Ryzen 9 9950HX3D is likely to be a slightly less powerful 3D V-Cache model positioned just below the flagship 9955HX. The 9845HX SKU, a newly unveiled 12-core option, may be the entry-level choice in AMD's "Fire Range" lineup.
