XFX RDNA 4 Rumors

XFX has been relatively quiet about RDNA 4, with a special event scheduled for this Friday. The AMD board partner unveiled two Radeon RX 9070 series cards at CES 2025, but has not launched any marketing campaigns yet. VideoCardz has been keeping track of XFX's activities through retail sources. Their latest report focuses on custom Radeon RX 9070 XT options, with a total of nine SKUs set to launch next month.

In mid-February, a Canadian e-tailer accidentally published a selection of unannounced XFX MERCURY, SWIFT, and QUICKSILVER models. Shortly after, Amazon branches in South Korea and Canada uploaded packaging images.

VideoCardz has gathered product renders and basic specs from retail leaks and insider sources. They believe XFX has moved away from their old naming schemes in favor of traditional spellings. The high-end MERCURY lineup reportedly includes four models, with two Magnetic Air variants and two normal editions. The Magnetic Air models feature detachable fans with red-ringed color coding.

XFX's Radeon RX 9070 XT custom options are said to have a factory-set overclock of 3.1 GHz and three 8-pin power connectors. Moving down the hierarchy, VideoCardz predicts three QUICK SILVER models at launch, including a white Magnetic Air option. The SWIFT lineup offers budget-friendly options in black or white, with a simpler feature set.
