MSI's Latest GeForce RTX 5070 Graphics Card Models

MSI Expands GeForce RTX 5070 Lineup

Just a week ago, MSI unveiled its new range of custom GeForce RTX 5070 graphics cards. The lineup includes the premium VANGUARD model, as well as the budget-friendly INSPIRE 3X option. Now, the Taiwanese manufacturer has introduced two more models to its NVIDIA "Blackwell" GB205 GPU-based family.

According to VideoCardz, the new additions to the GeForce RTX 5070 stack are the SHADOW 2X OC and SHADOW 2X (non-OC) models. These cards appeared on MSI's website without any prior announcement. Last month, the company surprised consumers with the SHADOW 3X designs for the GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti.

The SHADOW 2X design features a TORX 5.0 dual-fan cooling system. Similar to the VENTUS series, the SHADOW lineup is designed to offer a no-frills, performance-oriented option for gamers. MSI describes the SHADOW series as ideal for those looking to upgrade or build a gaming rig.

MSI has faced criticism in recent months for the lack of "MSRP" models and reports of price increases at launch. Industry experts predict that the new SHADOW 2X models will be in high demand and may be difficult to find in the near future.
