Compulab Updates Airtop3 Compact PC Line with New Configuration

Compulab has recently announced an update to its "ruggedised" Airtop3 compact form factor PC line. This new configuration includes a pre-installed "Ada Lovelace" GeForce RTX 4060 8 GB discrete graphics card.

In 2018, TechPowerUp reported on Compulab's crowdfunding campaign for the fanless Airtop2 Inferno Mini-PC. This second generation design featured a desktop GeForce GTX 1080 "Pascal" card. The current-gen SFF fanless IoT Edge server model was unveiled in 2019 with passively cooled Intel Core i9-9900K processors and Team Green's Quadro RTX 4000 graphics cards.

Compulab introduced its vanilla Airtop2 design back in February 2018. The latest Airtop3 revision still uses the LGA1151 socket platform, compatible with select Team Blue "Coffee Lake" CPUs. The top configuration includes a Xeon E-2278GE processor, while the entry-level option comes with a Celeron G4900T unit.

According to VideoCardz, the starting price for an Airtop3 with a GeForce RTX 4060 dGPU is $2780, while a GPU-less setup costs $1790. Customers can choose between the GeForce RTX 4060 or an older "Ampere" RTX A2000 6 GB card. Both CPU/APU and GPU aspects are passively cooled using large copper plates.
