MeLE Unveils Cyber X1: Ultra-Compact Fanless Mini PC with Intel N150

MeLE has introduced the Cyber X1, a remarkably compact fanless mini PC designed for users seeking efficient performance in a small footprint. Powered by Intel’s N150 processor from the Twin Lake series, the Cyber X1 measures just 131 x 81 x 24 mm and weighs only 288 grams—making it only slightly larger than a typical smartphone.

Performance and Memory

The Cyber X1 is equipped with 16 GB of soldered LPDDR5-4800 memory, ensuring fast and reliable multitasking capabilities. Storage is handled via a single M.2 2280 slot, supporting PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSDs. The initial configuration comes with a 512 GB drive, but users can upgrade storage as needed.

MeLE has configured the Intel N150 processor to operate at a 10 W TDP, higher than its standard 6 W base power. This is made possible by an advanced passive cooling system, which utilizes hundreds of thermal-conductive plastic spikes on the top surface to efficiently dissipate heat without the need for fans.

Comprehensive Connectivity

The Cyber X1 offers a wide range of connectivity options to suit various use cases. It features dual HDMI 2.0 outputs, supporting up to three displays simultaneously. For data transfer and peripheral connections, the device includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with 10 Gbps bandwidth and video output, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and one USB 2.0 Type-A port. Additional features include Gigabit Ethernet, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a microSD card reader capable of 60 MB/s speeds.

Wireless connectivity is provided by WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of networks and devices.

Design and Availability

Building on the foundation of MeLE’s previous Quieter 4C model, the Cyber X1 introduces improved thermal management, enabling higher sustained performance in a fanless design. This makes it an attractive option for users who prioritize silent operation and compactness without sacrificing capability.

While global pricing has yet to be officially announced, European retailers have listed the Cyber X1 at €299.99, which is approximately $349. An Amazon product page indicates that North American availability is on the horizon, though a specific release date has not been confirmed.
