SilverStone Unveils XE360PD: High-Performance Single-Socket AIO Liquid Cooler
SilverStone has announced the XE360PD, a new all-in-one (AIO) closed-loop liquid cooler designed for single-socket systems. This release follows the XE360PDD, which was originally developed for dual-processor (2P) servers and workstations. The XE360PD offers broad compatibility thanks to its socket-agnostic design, allowing users to select the appropriate retention module kit for their specific CPU socket.
Flexible Socket Compatibility
To ensure optimal fit and performance, SilverStone provides separate retention kits for various platforms. The XAC-MK-4189 kit supports Intel LGA4189 sockets, the XAC-MK-4710 is compatible with Intel LGA4677 and LGA4710 sockets, and the XAC-MK-SP5 is designed for AMD SP5 and sTR5 sockets. This modular approach allows the XE360PD to cater to a wide range of high-end desktop and workstation CPUs.
Advanced Cooling Design
The XE360PD features a robust 360 mm x 120 mm radiator with a substantial 38 mm thickness, constructed from aluminum channels and fins for efficient heat dissipation. Uniquely, the radiator integrates two pumps, each capable of reaching speeds up to 4,000 RPM. One pump draws coolant from the CPU block, while the other returns it after passing through the radiator, ensuring consistent and effective circulation.
The water block itself is crafted from nickel-plated copper, providing excellent thermal conductivity and durability. The cooler uses a 45 cm rubber tube with nylon sleeving for added protection and flexibility during installation. Both pumps operate on 3-pin DC input at 12V, supporting reliable and stable performance.
High-Performance Fans
Included with the XE360PD are three 120 mm fans engineered for demanding cooling scenarios. Each fan utilizes double ball bearings and a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) impeller, delivering a balance of durability and efficiency. The fans support 4-pin PWM control, allowing for dynamic speed adjustment between 800 and 3,000 RPM. At peak performance, each fan can move up to 95.1 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of airflow, generate 5.2 mm H₂O of static pressure, and reach a maximum noise level of 39.6 dBA.
SilverStone has not yet disclosed pricing details for the XE360PD. With its advanced features and flexible compatibility, the XE360PD is positioned as a compelling solution for enthusiasts and professionals seeking high-performance liquid cooling for single-socket systems.
