GMKtec Unveils EVO-T2 Mini-PC Featuring Intel Panther Lake Platform
GMKtec has introduced the EVO-T2, a compact mini-PC that marks the company’s first system built on Intel’s next-generation Panther Lake platform. The EVO-T2 made its debut at the 2025 Technology Innovation and Industry Ecology Conference in China and is scheduled for release in early 2026.
Powered by Intel Panther Lake H 12Xe3 Processor
At the heart of the EVO-T2 is the Intel Panther Lake H 12Xe3 mobile processor, an advanced Intel 18A chip with a configurable thermal design power (TDP) of up to 80 watts. This processor features 12 Xe3 GPU cores, which are expected to be similar to the Arc B390-class integrated graphics found in other high-end Panther Lake laptops. The system is rated for up to 180 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) of combined AI compute performance, making it well-suited for demanding AI workloads and next-generation applications.
Advanced Memory and Storage Capabilities
The EVO-T2 supports up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory, running at an impressive 10,677 MT/s, ensuring high-speed multitasking and efficient data processing. For storage, the mini-PC offers two M.2 slots: one supporting PCIe 5.0 and the other PCIe 4.0, with a combined maximum storage capacity of 16 TB. This configuration provides flexibility for users who require both speed and ample storage space.
Connectivity and Expansion Options
On the front panel, the EVO-T2 includes three USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack, catering to a variety of peripheral and audio needs. Details regarding the full rear I/O configuration and final pricing have not yet been disclosed.
Next-Generation AI PC Experience
The EVO-T2 will ship with Intel’s “AI PC” software stack preinstalled, positioning it as a forward-looking solution for users interested in AI-driven applications and workflows. This integration highlights GMKtec’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology in a compact form factor.
Building on the Success of the EVO-T1
The EVO-T2 succeeds the EVO-T1, which launched earlier in the year with a Core Ultra 9 285H processor and support for multiple SSD options, including OCuLink and USB4 for external GPU connectivity. With the EVO-T2, GMKtec transitions its high-end mini-PC lineup to Intel’s latest architecture, offering enhanced performance and future-ready features.
GMKtec has announced that additional details, including final specifications and the official launch date, will be revealed in the first quarter of 2026.
