Akasa Expands H6L(S) Low-Profile CPU Cooler Series for Compact Systems
Akasa has introduced six new additions to its H6L(S) low-profile CPU cooler lineup, designed specifically for compact and small form factor (SFF) PC builds. The expanded range now includes five distinct models and an additional color variant, catering to users seeking high-performance cooling solutions in space-constrained environments.
Optimized Cooling for SFF and Mini-ITX Builds
The new H6L(S) coolers are engineered for high-performance CPUs in compact systems, including Mini-ITX and thin Mini-ITX motherboards. With cooling capacities reaching up to 165 W TDP and profile heights ranging from just 67.2 mm to 77.6 mm, these coolers are ideal for builds where space and thermal management are critical. Each model features a black aluminum heatsink, six copper heatpipes, and a top-down airflow design to maximize heat dissipation while maintaining a low profile.
Akasa has optimized the footprint of these coolers to ensure full RAM clearance across all memory slots, addressing a common challenge in compact PC builds. The coolers are compatible with a wide range of CPU sockets, including Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x, as well as AMD AM5 and AM4 platforms. Each package also includes Akasa’s T5 ProGrade+ thermal compound for enhanced thermal conductivity.
Model Overview and Key Features
- Viper H6L M2: Focused on maximizing airflow, this model utilizes an S-FLOW fan design and supports up to 165 W TDP within a 76 mm profile. It is available with either black or white fans.
- SOHO H6L M2: Featuring addressable RGB lighting, the SOHO H6L M2 supports up to 160 W TDP and uses a 120 mm fan with hydro-dynamic bearings for quiet operation. It is offered in Dusk (black) and Dawn (white) editions.
- Alucia H6L M2: Designed for low-noise performance, this cooler provides up to 160 W TDP cooling in a 77.6 mm profile, finished in Photic Blue.
- Alucia H6LS M2: Targeted at ultra-compact builds with strict height restrictions, the Alucia H6LS M2 stands just 67.2 mm tall and supports CPUs up to 150 W TDP. It is one of the smallest six-heatpipe coolers in Akasa’s portfolio and is available in both Photic Blue and the new Hadal Black finish.
