GMKtec Launches EVO-T2 Desktop AI Supercomputer Series with Intel Core Ultra Processors

GMKtec has introduced its latest EVO-T2 Desktop AI Supercomputer Series at Intel’s 3rd-Generation Core Ultra processor launch event in Shanghai. Designed for advanced AI workloads, the EVO-T2 is powered by Intel Core Ultra X9 388H and X7 358H processors, both built on the cutting-edge Panther Lake architecture. With up to 180 TOPS of AI computing power, the EVO-T2 stands out as one of the most powerful desktop AI mini PCs on the market.

Advanced Intel 18A Technology and AI Acceleration

The EVO-T2 leverages Intel’s latest 18A (1.8nm-class) manufacturing process, incorporating RibbonFET gate-all-around transistors and PowerVia backside power delivery. These innovations represent significant advancements in Intel’s semiconductor technology, enabling higher performance and energy efficiency. The system integrates CPU, GPU, and NPU acceleration, allowing users to run large language models with up to 70 billion parameters directly on the device—eliminating the need for cloud-based processing and enhancing data privacy and responsiveness.

Enhanced AI Performance with aiDAPTIV+ SSD Technology

To further boost AI capabilities, GMKtec has partnered with Phison to include aiDAPTIV+ AI SSD technology in the EVO-T2. This integration dynamically expands memory capacity and minimizes bottlenecks when handling large-scale AI models, ensuring smooth and efficient performance for demanding applications.

Powerful Graphics and Extensive Expansion Options

The EVO-T2 features the integrated Intel Arc B390 GPU with 12 Xe cores, supporting DirectX 12 Ultimate, real-time ray tracing, and Intel XeSS 3 AI upscaling. Despite its compact size, the system offers robust expansion capabilities, including:

  • Dual M.2 SSD slots (PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0) supporting up to 16 TB of storage
