The EK-Quantum Velocity² water blocks are the first EK product series to feature EK-Matrix7 compatibility. Since their launch, these innovative water blocks have received multiple design and performance accolades. EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB - 1700

The Velocity² water block features EK's next-generation CPU water block cooling engine, specifically designed for the socket. The design and blend of mounting pressure and cold plate geometry are tailored to the IHS and die layout of Intel LGA 1700 socket processors, ensuring low hydraulic flow restriction and superior performance. The coldplate effectively covers the IHS and exerts optimal pressure on the die area.

The Velocity² water blocks use a patent-pending EK-Exact Mount mounting system, which consists of only two pieces - the backplate and the water block itself. It is screwed in from the back, allowing for a seamless and clean front look without any visible screws. The system uses pre-tensioned springs concealed in the water block top, enabling the user to achieve the exact mounting pressure with just a few turns of the thumb nuts.

The LGA 1700 version of the Velocity² water block is compatible with the 12th, 13th, and 14th gen Intel Core Processor Family and is available in 7 variants: Nickel + Plexi, Nickel + Acetal, Full Nickel, Nickel + Satin Titanium, Copper + Acetal, Nickel + Gold, and Lignum Edition - Walnut. The coldplate is made from high-grade 99.99% pure electrolytic copper and undergoes precision machining for optimized contact and heat transfer.
