GIGABYTE Technology Announces New Servers for AMD Instinct MI300 Series

Giga Computing, a subsidiary of GIGABYTE and a leader in high-performance servers and IT infrastructure, has unveiled the GIGABYTE G383-R80 for the AMD Instinct MI300A APU, as well as two GIGABYTE G593 series servers for the AMD Instinct MI300X GPU and AMD EPYC 9004 Series processor. These servers are designed to support exascale computing and accelerate advancements in high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI).

G383-R80: Combining CPU & GPU

The GIGABYTE G383-R80 is a powerful server that combines a CPU and GPU. It features four LGA6096 sockets for MI300A APUs, which integrate a CPU with twenty-four AMD Zen 4 cores and a GPU with AMD CDNA 3 GPU cores. The chiplet design includes 128 GB of unified HBM3 memory, providing impressive performance for large AI models. The server also offers twelve PCIe Gen 5 slots for expansion, as well as eight 2.5" Gen 5 NVMe bays for handling heavy workloads.

G593 Series: Exascale GPU

The GIGABYTE G593-ZX1/ZX2 servers are based on the AMD CDNA accelerator architecture, enabling exascale computing. These servers feature eight MI300X GPUs, each with 192 GB of unified HBM3 memory, making them ideal for large language models. Powered by dual AMD EPYC 9004 processors, the G593 servers offer twelve expansion slots for GPUs, networking cards, or storage devices.

"At SC23, we received a lot of positive feedback about our GIGABYTE MI300 series server," said Vincent Wang, VP of Sales at Giga Computing. "The advancements in chiplet design and power efficiency ensure that our systems deliver exceptional performance."

The new GIGABYTE servers will be available in the first half of 2024. For more information and inquiries about these server designs and deployment options, interested parties are encouraged to contact Giga Computing's sales team.
